In 1922, at the age of 22, Henry Bolduc left his native Canada and settled in Manchester with his future wife. Henry was immediately hired by Moreau Roofing, and steadily worked his way up the ladder of success. In 1942, Henry and other associates purchased the company and renamed it Master Roofers.

In the following decade, Henry Bolduc became president of Master Roofers, and was soon joined in the business by sons Paul, Vince and Roger. Each son left the business to serve their country during World War II, and then the Korean War. All three returned safely and continued working in the family business.

Although Paul eventually left the company to work in his wife’s family business, Vince and Roger made Master Roofers their career. They were soon joined by their sister, who served as the office manager. The company became know for honesty, integrity and the high quality of their Manchester NH roofing systems.

After more than 30 years of leading the company, Henry Bolduc retired in the late 1970s. Vince became president and Roger served as project manager. During this transition, there were three generations of the Bolduc family actively involved in the business, as Vince’s two sons were learning the roofing trade from their grandfather, father and uncle. Henry continued to actively work in the roofing and sheet metal operations until his passing in 1981.

Today, with nearly 65 years of Manchester NH roofing experience, Vince continues to lead Master Roofers. Son Dan Bolduc, who began working for the company full time in 1977, assumed many of the managerial duties from his father in the 1980s, and continues to run operations for the company.
